Celebrating our 10 year anniversary
We are celebrating a special milestone for our agency this year and look back to our humble beginnings. Knowing we are celebrating our ten year is certainly amazing, an achievement we like to share. Today we like to look back and invite you to be a little nostalgic with us.
We picked a few projects to showcase our achievements and hope you will enjoy checking them out.
Starting with our first client, Versicherungsbüro Archangeli e.K., an insurance agency in Germany. A bit of background about this relationship. The owner of the insurance agency and our founder know each other for many years. As of writing this post, Simon has supported the insurance agency, which is located in Berlin, for over 25 years now. Over the years we have supported many clients from different industries. Projects included web development, online marketing as well as producing promotional as well as educational videos. We even produced a web series, called the INTERNeX Explorer, which was uploaded to YouTube at first and later just to Facebook. For the series we teamed up with the PR Department of INTERNeX and created over a hundred episodes. We also hosted various seminars, one of which was for the Log and Timber Builder Association about internet security, at their annual conference in British Columbia.

In the past ten years we supported many clients from various industries including construction, entertainment, retail, whole sale, tourism, insurance, education and many more. Our clients are located in Canada, the US, Germany, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and other countries around the world.
We have worked on countless web projects, online database systems, online shops, Blogs, have produced over one hundred episodes for the web show, educational videos, promotional videos, have hosted seminars online as well as in an office, helped organizing events, trips and other activities for our clients and supported them with their Social Media needs as well as Online Marketing Strategies.
When I started teccrab in February 2012, I wanted to give my clients the feeling of empowerment, by educating them about Digital Marketing. I believed by allowing them to look behind the curtain they would be less intimidated and trust my experience. This concept was certainly not new. I have always tried my best to share knowledge and to encourage people to do the same. It has served teccrab well and is part of our DNA.

Happy New Year 2022
We like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope you had an amazing start into 2022. This year marks the 10th anniversary for our agency and we are working on some special promotions, amazing projects and exciting changes.
Our Blog will also see some more new articles. Next week we like to start with some tips how to analyze the data you gathered during the Fall / Winter season 2021. Those stats will lead to suggestions for a marketing plan and where you may want to focus on during the first and second half of the year.
While the post in January might be seen as the conclusion of our last series, promoting your business online in 2021, we also have some ideas for a new series. How are we doing?
It has been a while between our last post here on wordpress.com and our update today. As it has many others, 2020 did hit us very hard. Projects we had lined up for the Spring and Summer of 2020 were canceled and some businesses we worked with even had to declare bankruptcy. For a long time we were not sure how we can turn the tables and needed to make some significant changes. First we partnered with IONOS and with Shopify, allowing us to build attractive packages. Our first client for one of our new service packages was Style of Life Canada (styleoflife.ca). We helped them setting up a basic online store with Shopify. We advised them to build a solid structure, supported them with training and guided them with online marketing solutions and consultations. The team from Style of Life is very committed, environmental friendly and family oriented. Their values are very much in line with our own, which made it really easy for us to get behind their vision.
The new packages we were able to develop will allow smaller businesses, like Style of Life Canada, to take advantage of professional support for an affordable price. It combines the development of a basic store, training and ongoing support, guidance and consultations for up to 36 months. Our fee is calculated based on the length of the agreement, we combine the initial development cost, training and setup, add useful services such as support to build online marketing strategies, consultation, coaching and more and divide everything into an affordable monthly fee, allowing even small business owners to take advantage of having professional team on their site.
Another project we like to announce today, is our upcoming series of Blogpost. We will be publishing tips for promoting your business online in 2021. The series will be most useful for any shop owner, but we believe also helpful for other business. In our next Blogpost we will reveal an outline of what you can expect. We have planed to publish a new Blogpost for you every Wednesday.

INTERNeX New J1 Program for Canadians
For many years INTERNeX has helped students to gain work experience abroad. The cultural exchange was always the most important factor for them as well as the personal growth. Programs such as the practicum program, hospitality program and ranch stay program are designed to bring people together and let them learn to walk in someone else’s shoes. Many students from Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway and other European countries went on an adventure in Canada or New Zealand. Introducing “The Off Switch V2.15” by teccrab
We live in an age where technology is an important part of our lives. But by staying connected via Computers, Cell Phones, Smart Phones and other Gizmos we often disconnect ourselves from our real lives and sometimes turn into Technology Zombies.
As an Online Marketing Agency we use technology ourselves and understand how important it is to step away once in a while. This is why we would like to invite you to join us for an opportunity to turn off your devices and to talk about better ways to stay connected without disconnecting ourselves from family and friends.
The first thing we will do is to turn off our cell phones, laptops, tablets and other devices. We will even put them away and sit down with pen and paper while talking about our experiences.
To secure that everyone gets the most out of the event we would like to keep groups small. Included in the small $10.00 fee are snacks and drinks available to you during the event.

Highlights of the year – teccrab inc. 2014 review
We are enjoying the last days of the year and would like to take a moment to say thank you for an amazing year. This year we had the pleasure to work with a lot of brilliant people on many fantastic projects. We would like to mention some of our highlights in our last post of 2014.
Our Sales Representative Alex joined our team in February 2014 with some creative ideas to increase the sales for our video production services. In March we produced a little advertisement with the goal to create a video that would demonstrate how powerful video advertisement can be, even if the video is made on a small budget. The video we produced, staring Alexander, is the following:
In May 2014 we had the pleasure to start working with Patricia, a very talented and dedicated Web Application Developer. One project she helped us with was the websites for an insurance agency in Germany. She also became the Project Manager for an in-house software we are developing.
Later this year we had the opportunity to update the INTERNeX website and to create a prototype for an iPhone application for them.
We also produced a 15 minute movie for INTERNeX which will be used as orientation for arriving candidates. Since this video is for their use only, we also produced a making of video:
During 2014 we have offered many seminars, but between October and December we had two seminars we want to mention here. One was about Online SCAM and the other about Facebook advertisement. Every Wednesday from October to mid December we switched between those two seminars and would like to thank everyone who joined us. After this little short review let us talk a bit about 2015.
Our main goal for 2015 is to open an agency in Germany. With the knowledge and our connection we are confident that we can be a great asset for German companies who want to check out the North American Market and for Canadian companies who would like to explore opportunities in Europe. To get things started in Germany we have also planed a seminar in March 2015 were we talk about benefits and risks using social media as marketing platform. If you are interested to learn more about this seminar check out http://seminar.teccrab.com for more information.
Seminars are for us an important factor not only to educate but also to build trust. We therefore plan to offer in 2015 seminars with various topics. Since we had great success with the Online Scam seminars we are planing to have them as a regular event.

Online Security Awareness Seminar (OSAS) – May 2014
We would like to invite you to join our Online Security Awareness Seminar (OSAS) which we will offer in the last two weeks of May. Because of recent security problems such as Heartbleed and the issue with the InternetExplorer we dedicated some time to create this seminar for you. System at risk
When you are working with a computer and the internet you are probably aware about the risks. Let us talk about those systems.
What kind of risks
Heartbleed demonstrated that even big players can not give you any guarantee to be protected. You also need to protect yourself. Let us give you a little overview and talk about the “What kind of risks” each system is facing.
Security vs Convenience
There has to be a balance between security and usability. How much is to much and what is the minimum? Let us talk about it.
Options to secure your system
Let us give you some example how you can protect your systems. We will talk about technics as well as software that can help you accomplishing this goal.
Password creation
We all use passwords to protect our computer, website, social media network, Bank Account and Email. Let us show you how to generate a more secure password which you can also easy remember, hopefully without leaving a clou to others.
At the end of our presentation we will have of course some time to chat with you and to answer questions you may have.

Highlights of the year – teccrab inc. 2013 review
It is the time of the year where we take a moment to review the events of the ending year and plan for the upcoming one. I do of course the same for teccrab inc. and would like to use this post to give you a little inside or behind the sense if you want.
In 2013 we manly tried to concentrate on building a solid foundation, to plan ahead and to continue growing. We partnered with incredible talented individuals as well as fantastic organizations around the world. Those partnerships helped us not just to increase the quality of our core business but also providing high class services in areas related to ours. From Hosting to Web Design, from Online Marketing to Public Relations Services to Video Productions and even Event Management, we are able to provide services that can help a business to promote themselves.
In June we opened our consultation location and moved into a part of the office space from INTERNeX. This new location allows us to offer seminars and can function as a studio for video production. It is easy accessible for our clients and has enough room to secure a healthy growth of teccrab inc.
We were very excited to support last year some fantastic app developers who created interesting applications and hope to continue working with them in the future. One of those applications is MyPoi, we posted about this interesting app a couple weeks ago.

One of our closest partners is of course INTERNeX International Exchange Ltd. In 2013 we produced for and with them many interesting videos for their clients. This project was driven by the PR interns of INTERNeX and our role was mainly production and post production support. The PR interns picked the locations for the INTERNeX Explorer and wrote their own scripts. We filmed them in different locations and provided the footage back to the interns who did the editing in most cases. The video was uploaded to YouTube almost every week. Unfortunately, because of changes in the PR team as well as technical problems, we couldn’t continue producing those videos, but plan to do it again in 2014.

teccrab presents INTERNeX HiGHLIGHTS of the week Ep. 8/2013
But the HiGHLIGHTS of the week and the INTERNeX Explorer are of course not the only projects planed for 2014. We have plans to offer seminars for small businesses as well as individuals who would like to learn more about the benefits and also risks of social media platforms.
A social media management package designed for small businesses and startups is another project on our list. Our plan is to include in this deal a lot of services to get a small business started as well as support to manage and build an audience. We will also make changes in out team, would like to get new people on board to increase our productivity and to secure our known quality. A career page will be available on our website shortly.
We would like to thank everyone who trusted us with their business, everyone who partnered with us and everyone who is considering using our service in the future. We hope you all can look back on 2013 and can at least say to yourself that the experience you gained will help you in the future.
